TVKC Obedience Seminar

When: Saturday and Sunday, September 7 & 8, 2024 from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Where: TDT Dog Sports, 1531 Richardson Hwy, North Pole, AK 99705
What: Motivational training for Performance/Competition Obedience training from beginning
to end. Presenter will address starting your dog heeling and each exercise in
Novice, Open, and Utility. She will present a variety of training approaches, breaking
down the components of each exercise from the basic steps through proofing and
presentation.
Saturday, Sept. 7, Mostly Novice obedience all day, 9 am – 4:00 pm.
TVKC member Working Spot – $200, Non-member working spot $220.
Sunday, Sept 8, Novice Open & Utility private lessons.
TVKC member Private lessons $50 per half hour, Non-member $55 per half hour.
Audit $100 both days, free to working spots

Beth Ericson is the obedience director at a large training and boarding facility located in Wichita, Kansas.
She has been competing in AKC obedience trials all of her adult life, and has earned multiple OTCH’s and
UDX titles. She and her dogs have accumulated over 30 High in Trial awards along the way. She loves to
play the game of obedience, but also enjoys training her Goldens in the field, and raising the occasional litter
of puppies under the Wakemup prefix.
