Please register if you are interested; the AKC requires a minimum attendance. If the seminar doesn’t fill by July 31st, then the event will have to be canceled.
Overview
This one-day seminar satisfies the seminar option for new judge candidates and counts as continuing
education for current judges. You must attend the entire day as a full participant to meet the AKC
Scent Work seminar requirements. The seminar will be split between classroom
instruction/discussion and hands-on activities.

- Scent theory
- General expectations of judges
- Picking and planning search areas
- General hide placement considerations
- Searches by class level, including hide
placement, test challenges, and judging
the search
Seminar Fees
- Judges (Full Participation) $100
- Audit Participation $75
