Agility
Dog agility is a fast-paced, competitive sport where dogs race through a series of obstacles—jumps, tunnels, weave poles, seesaws, and more—guided by their handler’s cues. The goal is to complete the course as quickly and accurately as possible requiring a strong bond between dog and handler, as well as quick thinking, focus, and athleticism.
Agility is open to all dogs, whether purebred or mixed breed, and is perfect for all skill levels from Novice to Advanced. Whether you’re looking for a fun way to stay active with your dog or aiming for the podium in local or national competitions, agility offers a rewarding experience that strengthens the connection between you and your dog.

How do I enter an Agility Trial?

Do I need to be a TVKC Member to enter an Agility Trial?
- You do not need the be a TVKC Member to enter Agility Trials.
- However, a Waiver is required for all who participate in TVKC events regardless of membership status.
- You can fill out an online waiver form or download the form and email it to tvkcmembership@gmail.com
- Your Waiver does not expire.
